I’m Jacklyn Boudreaux, owner and founder of Jacklyn Photography. I could tell you about how I’ve been published in Southern Celebrations Magazine or that I have been featured in numerous publications, but what does that mean to you when you have already looked at countless other options? Instead, let me tell you a little bit about me as a person.
You will know who I am from our very first conversation. I will be transparent with you, as I hope you will be with me. At home, I am the wife of a supportive husband, the proud mother of a police officer, and the mom for our fur-child, “Noodle,” our adorable Maltese. According to her, she is the boss of the house.
I began my career as a senior photographer out of sheer necessity. I had a camera, but photography originally was only a hobby of mine. The defining moment occurred when it came time for my son to have his senior portraits taken. Unfortunately, no one in the Baton Rouge or New Orleans area could capture his personality or the vision I had. So, in 2010, my son became my first official “subject.”
